Jan Weglarz

Jan Weglarz is a Professor and Director at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznan University of Technology. A full member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, his research focuses on scheduling in computer/manufacturing systems, grid resource management, and energy-aware computing.

Authored 15 monographs and 250+ publications. Honors include honorary doctorates from seven universities. Research contributions span deterministic scheduling, multiprocessor task allocation, and metacomputing.
