Jan Ondrus

Jan Ondrus is a Professor at ESSEC Business School, specializing in Information Systems with a focus on digital ecosystems and mobile payment platforms. He currently leads the Digital Disruption Chair and has held academic roles in France and Singapore since 2007. His research explores the strategic role of digital technology in business model innovation and its societal impact, particularly in mobile payments and digital transformation.

As an educator, he teaches Digital Disruption, Business Model Innovation, and E-commerce courses in ESSEC's GMBA and executive programs. He has served as Associate Dean for Asia-Pacific operations and directed research centers focused on digital business excellence.

Ondrus collaborates with industry leaders like Air France/KLM and Société Générale, contributes to academic leadership as conference track chair and journal editor, and mentors doctoral candidates.
