Jan-Olof Gullö is a professor of music and media production at the Royal College of Music (KMH) since 2018, specializing in music production and music technology within higher education. He holds leadership roles in KMH’s research council and pedagogy/ICT council, and is a board member of MIRAC, SSES, and MEIEA. His research focuses on bridging educational practices with evolving music production technologies, emphasizing pedagogical challenges in a digital age. Gullö has a PhD (2010) titled Music production with changing tools: a pedagogical challenge, and actively collaborates internationally, co-organizing the 2022 Innovation in Music conference. His work spans academic leadership, interdisciplinary research, and innovative approaches to music production education.
