Jan Ole Hesselberg is a PhD candidate at the University of Oslo, Department of Psychology, funded by the Dam Foundation. His research focuses on Judgment and Decision Making, Peer Review, Open Science, and Research Ethics, particularly examining inter-rater disagreement in grant proposal evaluations.
His work involves collaborations with the Norwegian Cancer Society, the Kavli Trust, and the Norwegian Research Council. Key publications include studies on clinical trial reporting delays, grant peer review feedback mechanisms, and reviewer training efficacy. He is supervised by Associate Professors Knut Inge Fostervold and Pål Ulleberg, alongside Ida Svege from the Dam Foundation.
