Prof. Dr. Jan Muntermann holds the Chair of Financial Data Analytics at the University of Augsburg within the Faculty of Business and Economics. His work bridges big data analytics, FinTech, and the digital transformation of finance, with a focus on extracting actionable insights from heterogeneous financial data.
- Teaching: Offers courses in Digital Finance, Financial Data Analytics, and Market Microstructure at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, complemented by doctoral seminars.
- Research: Explores machine learning, text mining, and case studies to analyze financial risk, digitalization challenges, and IT security in finance.
