Jan Habermehl is a Researcher at Goethe University Frankfurt's Institute for German Literature and previously held positions at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. He earned his doctorate summa cum laude (2023) with a dissertation on 16th-century geodesy. His work focuses on textual history, early Germanic studies, and medieval/early modern German texts, particularly practical geometry and manuscript studies.
