Jan Fazlagić

Jan Fazlagić is a Professor at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, holding the title of Full Professor of Economics since 2019. He has completed dozens of research and implementation projects for public and business sectors over the past 20 years, including significant contributions to Polish innovation policy and educational frameworks.

His research focuses on innovation management, strategic management, and competency development, with applied work in knowledge management and intellectual capital. He has shaped national policy through projects like the "School for Innovators" initiative for the Ministry of Development (2017) and authored key reports including the Ministry of Development's Report on Polish Economy Innovativeness (2020), Poznań City Strategy 2020+, and Poznań Education Policy 2030.

Prof. Fazlagić served as Director of the Innovation Manager Academy Program Council (2019-2021) and National Institute of Local Government expert (2017-2021). He currently holds leadership roles as Vice-President of the Association for Internationalization of Polish Universities and Lead Expert for the European Commission's URBACT III program, while maintaining international engagement through lecturing at NYU Stern's MBA program.
