Jan Christensen

Jan Christensen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health, Section of Social Medicine, within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. He concurrently serves as Head of Research at Copenhagen University Hospital - Rigshospitalet in the Department of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, demonstrating a strong clinical-academic integration across public health and rehabilitation domains.

His research focuses on exercise physiology applications in oncology rehabilitation, particularly for pediatric cancer patients, alongside sarcopenia assessment in hematological malignancies and neurorehabilitation for brain injury.
