Jan Alexander Langlo

Jan Alexander Langlo is an Associate Professor at NTNU's Department of Mechanical Engineering and Production, Faculty of Engineering. He holds a part-time (II position) role since 2011. Previously, he served as a Senior Researcher and Research Manager at SINTEF Technology and Society (1998–2018). His roles at NTNU include managing the Project Management Program, Nordic 10-10 initiative, and contributing to Project Norway. He specializes in project management, construction industry performance, and performance measurement. Key areas include lean management, quality management, and sustainable building projects.

His research focuses on collaboration in construction projects, cost estimation realism, and productivity optimization.
