Jamin Greenbaum

Jamin Greenbaum is a Research Fellow at the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics (UTIG) within The University of Texas at Austin. His work focuses on integrating geophysical data into numerical ocean and ice sheet models to study Antarctic land-ice-ocean interactions, particularly processes driving rapid inland retreat of ice sheets.

Research Interests: Greenbaum specializes in airborne remote sensing-derived estimations of seafloor bathymetry, ice shelf surface and basal melting, and subglacial meltwater transport to grounding lines. He also investigates geological factors (tectonics, geothermal heat flux) influencing ice sheet stability and employs data-assimilating numerical models to optimize future data campaigns.
