Jamie Henzy

Jamie Henzy is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Biology at Northeastern University. Her work focuses on the fundamental role of information transmission in biological systems, spanning from bacterial energy utilization to the evolutionary origins of mitochondria and chloroplasts in eukaryotes. She emphasizes the application of genetic insights to medicine and evolutionary studies.
