Jami Fulwider

Jami Fulwider is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing, Lincoln campus since 2004. She holds a BSN from UNMC (1999) and an MSN in Nursing Administration from Nebraska Wesleyan University (2004). Her clinical expertise spans oncology and medical-surgical nursing.

Her research focuses on patient acuity measurement, clinical assessment tools, and nursing student success predictors. She actively contributes to education by advising the Lincoln Division Student Nurses Association and serving on committees like the Special Functions Committee and New College of Nursing Building Learning Resource Center Work Group.

Ms. Fulwider has received the UNMC Silver U Award and Sigma Theta Tau Nu Rho-at-Large Excellence Award. She collaborates with BryanLGH East's Renal Unit to mentor nursing students, emphasizing renal failure, urinary disorders, and oncology care.
