Dr. James Stovold is an Assistant Professor at the Data Science Institute, Lancaster University. His research focuses on emergent behavior, cognitive robotics, and unconventional computing methods, particularly leveraging neural cellular automata and swarm robotics for innovative applications in AI and computational systems.
