Dr. James Shumpert is an active faculty member and Program Coordinator for the Criminal Justice Program at South Carolina State University (SCSU). Holding a tenure-track position, he combines teaching, research, and community service with 38 years of cumulative experience in criminal justice and public safety disciplines.
