James Shrosbree is Professor of Art at Maharishi International University (MIU) in Fairfield, Iowa, where he has taught since 1979. He also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Iowa from 2006 to 2010. His work bridges visual art, consciousness, and material practice, with a focus on ceramic sculpture, drawing, and painting.

Shrosbree’s artistic research explores perception, form, and the interplay between material and immaterial.
