James Sefton is a Professor of Economics at the Imperial College Business School, where he serves as the Head of the Department of Finance. He is also the Principal Investigator for the ESRC-funded project on intergenerational resource distribution and holds leadership roles as Academic Director of the Investment and Wealth Management and Finance and Accounting MSc programs, as well as Co-director of the Financial Technology MSc.
