James Russo is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Curriculum Teaching & Inclusive Education, Monash University. His research focuses on primary mathematics education, emphasizing student-centered pedagogies, differentiated instruction, and fostering enjoyment in learning. He holds a PhD from 2017 and has contributed to over 100 research outputs since 2006, including studies on challenging tasks, mathematical games, and teacher emotions. He has led or collaborated on projects like the 'Mathematics Sequences of Learning (MSoL)' and 'Exploring Mathematical Sequences of Connected Tasks.'
