James McPherson

James McPherson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Faculty of Science. He is actively engaged in research, teaching, and academic service, with a focus on inorganic and materials chemistry.

His research interests lie in controlling and manipulating metal ions and clusters within robust crystalline network materials, particularly metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). He explores applications in catalysis, magnetic refrigeration, and environmental remediation, especially in water purification technologies.
