James Linck

Dr. James Linck is a Professor and Department Chair of Finance at the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Cox School of Business, where he holds the Distinguished Chair in Finance. He has previously held academic positions at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, the University of Rochester's Simon Graduate School of Business, and Arizona State University's WP Carey School of Business.

Education:

His research focuses on corporate finance, corporate governance, organizations, governance and corporate control, and boards. He has published in top journals like the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and The Accounting Review.
