James Keeble is a Lecturer in Atmospheric Science at the Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University. His research focuses on chemistry-climate and Earth system modeling to assess anthropogenic emissions' impacts on atmospheric composition and global climate.
His work explores stratospheric ozone evolution, hydrogen economy implications, and climate feedbacks. Recent publications highlight ozone trends, aerosol impacts, and climate system variability.
James co-authored the 2022 Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion and contributed to UK government reports on hydrogen economy scenarios. He co-leads the Role of Stratosphere-Troposphere Exchange in the Earth System (ROSTEES) Working Group.
