James Ingram is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at McMaster University. His work bridges modern and continental European political theory from Rousseau and Kant through Marx to Critical Theory, with a focus on the interplay between political thought and real-world politics. He has authored the 2013 book Radical Cosmopolitics and co-edited the 2017 collection Political Uses of Utopia.
