James E. Wren is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Baylor Law School, Baylor University, with over 40 years of trial experience specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, and business litigation jury trials. He serves as lead trial lawyer at White, Carlson, Wren & Cook and previously held the Leon Jaworski Chair of Practice & Procedure at Baylor Law, where he directed the Practice Court program and co-directed the LL.M. in Litigation Management.
His research focuses on civil litigation strategies, jury trial methodologies, and catastrophic injury case management. Wren emphasizes practical trial preparation and damages proof in adversarial systems.
