James Doering is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Accounting, Information Systems and Business Analytics at the Neil Griffin College of Business, Arkansas State University. A licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (Wisconsin), he brings extensive professional experience from public accounting, financial analysis in Fortune 500 companies, and corporate law firms in Chicago and Phoenix.

His research focuses on taxation, particularly in corporate, partnership, and international tax domains.
