James Creighton

James Creighton is a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he teaches professional-level courses in estate planning, probate, and trust law. He is also an Adjunct Professor at UC Hastings College of the Law since 2011, focusing on Wills & Trusts. Creighton founded Creighton Law in 1997, maintaining offices in San Francisco, San Mateo, and Sacramento.

His practice spans over 22 years, specializing in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law, with certification from the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. In Sacramento, he records educational webinars and video logs for clients and students.

Creighton earned his J.D. from University of California Hastings College of the Law in 1994 and a B.S. from California State University, Los Angeles in 1988. He also provides expert witness testimony in trusts and estates cases.
