James Cowie Reid

Dr. James Cowie Reid is a researcher in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Calgary. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Australian National University (2007) and a BSc (Honours) in Physics and an LLB (Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand). His research focuses on non-linear dynamics, statistical mechanics, and condensed matter physics, particularly pattern formation in 3D systems using the Complex Ginzburg-Landau Equation and fluctuation relations in non-equilibrium systems.
