James Allen

James Allen is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and BioBehavioral Health at the University of Minnesota. He is also affiliated with the College of Pharmacy as a Graduate Faculty member in the Social & Administrative Pharmacy department and holds an Adjunct Professor appointment at the School of Public Health, Academic Health Center. His work spans clinical psychology, behavioral health, and interdisciplinary research.

• PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Montana (1990)
• BA in Psychology and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1984)
• Pre-doctoral Internship in Clinical Psychology at Hutchings Psychiatric Institute (1989)

Allen’s research focuses on biobehavioral health, ethics in medical research, and public health initiatives. He is part of the Memory Keepers Medical Discovery Team, contributing to advancing healthcare practices and participant protections.
