James A. Hawkins is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati, where he coordinates the Graduate Certificate in Behavior Analysis and the M.Ed. in Foundations in Behavior Analysis Distance Learning Programs. His career includes ten years as a school psychologist in public schools, where he developed behavioral interventions for students, including those with disabilities. He also previously worked at the University of Tennessee in the Office of Disability Services and at the University of Michigan's 21st Century Program.

Dr. Hawkins' research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of individual and classwide academic and behavioral interventions, particularly for students with disabilities. His work bridges applied behavior analysis and educational psychology to improve support systems in educational settings.
