Jamelle S. Wilson serves as the fifth dean of the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS), succeeding Dean Emeritus James L. Narduzzi after his 21-year tenure. She holds the academic rank of Professor in Education and actively participates in the SPCS Speakers Bureau, focusing on the experiences of working professionals and adult learners pursuing degrees and certificates for career advancement.

Prior to her deanship, Wilson served as Superintendent of Schools for Hanover County, Virginia, following a progressive career in Hanover County Public Schools spanning roles from classroom teacher to assistant superintendent. As a former adjunct professor in SPCS's Educational Leadership and Policy Studies graduate program, she contributed directly to training future education administrators and policymakers.
Wilson actively collaborates with Partners in the Arts through governance board service, advancing arts integration initiatives across Richmond-area schools. Her leadership prioritizes expanding the University of Richmond's role in meeting regional educational needs while supporting adult learners' professional development and personal enrichment goals within the Richmond community.
