Jakub Musil is a Researcher and PhD candidate in Linguistics and English Language at the University of Edinburgh's School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences. His research focuses on phonological theory, the phonetics-phonology interface, and the dialectology of Scottish Gaelic, particularly examining vowel epenthesis and excrescence processes in Celtic languages. He holds an MA (Hons) in Celtic & Linguistics from Edinburgh and an MSc by Research in Linguistics.
