Jakob Stokholm

Jakob Stokholm serves as a Professor within the Department of Food Science at the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Science. His research focuses on microbial ecosystems in early human development, with institutional affiliations extending to Copenhagen University Hospital - Rigshospitalet since October 2008 through the COPSAC research initiative.

As an active supervisor, Stokholm mentors BSc, MSc, and PhD students within the Department of Food Science. His research group maintains significant external collaborations with Copenhagen University Hospital, particularly through the COPSAC longitudinal birth cohort study tracking over 700 children since 2008.
