- PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto
- MA in Political Science / Cultural, Social, and Political Thought from the University of Victoria
- BA in Political Science and Scholar's Electives from the University of Western Ontario
His research focuses on Decolonial and Postcolonial Thought, Intersectionality and Feminist Thought, Social Justice and Anti-Oppression, Politics of Race, Culture, and Religion, Indigenous Politics, Settler Colonialism, Violence and Nonviolence, and Critical Theory and Radical Democracy.
