Jake Cohen

Jake Cohen is the Senior Associate Dean and Senior Lecturer in Accounting, Ethics, and Law at the MIT Sloan School of Management, serving on its leadership team to advance global partnerships. He is a member of the Board of Governors and Executive Committee of the Asia School of Business (ASB), where he previously served as interim CEO/President/Dean (2022–2023). He holds a concurrent Professor of Management Practice role at ASB and leads MIT Sloan’s Master of Science in Management Studies (MSMS) program.

Research focuses on corporate governance, global financial reporting, and strategic partnerships. He has published extensively via INSEAD and HBS case studies and authored a textbook on Global Financial Reporting and Analysis. His teaching and leadership span roles at institutions like the University of Cambridge, Oxford, Tsinghua, and INSEAD, where he was recognized for outstanding pedagogy.

Leadership roles include overseeing MIT’s Sustainability Initiative, MIT Leadership Center, and philanthropic initiatives. He chairs MIT Sloan’s Title IX Office and advises executive education programs such as the MIT Sloan-Tsinghua Scienvest Program. Industry experience includes auditing at KPMG and M&A consulting at PwC, alongside advisory roles for firms like Accenture and Blackstone.
