Jaimee Watts Isley

Jaimee Watts Isley is an Adjunct Faculty member with a 12-year career spanning public health nursing, clinical care, administration, research, and education. She holds an MPH in Health Policy and Promotion and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) in Adult Gerontology.

• Collaborated with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) to survey 600+ public health nurses on workforce retention and recruitment
• Served as a population health and innovation nurse consultant for the Office of the Chief Public Health Nurse (OCPHN) at NC DPH, leading a credentialing program for public health nurses
• Contributed to the development of North Carolina’s first HBCU/MSI Public Health Internship

Active in professional organizations, she held leadership roles as past chair of the NCPHA nursing section and communications committee chair for the APHA nursing section, and co-founded the #609 PHN club.
