Jaime Gil Aluja

Jaime Gil Aluja is a renowned Spanish economist and Professor at the University of Barcelona, where he has held the chairs of Applied Accounting and Business Techniques (1965) and Business Economics (1967). He is globally recognized as the father of the new theory of uncertainty, pioneering the application of multivalent logics and fuzzy mathematics in economics and management. He currently serves as the President of the Royal Academy of Economic and Financial Sciences and has been a member of the Governing Board of the Institute of Spain since 2017.
