Jaime Coles-Duff is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Providence’s School of Health Professions. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (FNP) from Gonzaga University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University. In addition to her academic role, she is the Owner and Primary Provider of Inland Community HouseCalls, a private healthcare company established in 2018. Her clinical experience spans over two decades, including roles as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Staff Nurse across multiple healthcare settings.
Dr. Coles-Duff’s teaching responsibilities include courses such as Advanced Health Assessment, Nursing Education Foundations, and Healthcare Policy. She has led the MSN Program at UP since 2022 and actively contributes to academic governance through roles like Vice Chair of the Faculty Executive Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Her professional certifications include Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse licenses in Washington State.
Her research and clinical interests focus on nursing education innovation, advanced nursing practice, and healthcare leadership. She has been recognized with Valley Hospital’s Employee of the Month and Year awards for her clinical contributions. Beyond academia, she teaches global health courses, emphasizing real-world applications like pandemic response during the COVID-19 crisis.
