Jae-Hyun Kim is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at Macquarie University, affiliated with the Centre for Language Sciences (CLaS) and the Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre. His research focuses on diagnosis, measurement, and assessment in speech pathology, with particular emphasis on bilingual language acquisition, swallowing disorders, and systematic review methodologies. He holds a PhD from the University of Auckland and teaches in the Master of Speech and Language Pathology program.
Education: PhD in Linguistics from the University of Auckland. Research interests include language assessment tools, phonetics, and evidence-based clinical practices. He has conducted over 27 peer-reviewed studies since 2014, with a strong focus on systematic reviews and collaborative interdisciplinary projects.
