Jae Hyeon Ryu is a Professor in the Department of Soil and Water Systems at the University of Idaho, affiliated with the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. He is based at the Idaho Water Center in Boise. His research focuses on drought monitoring/forecasting, hydrological modeling, and water resources planning in the context of climate variability and urbanization.
