Jacqui Smith

Jacqui Smith serves as a Professor and Co-Speaker of the International Max Planck Research School for the Life Course (IMPRS LIFE) at the University of Michigan.

Her research centers exclusively on Developmental Psychology, examining psychological processes across the human lifespan through interdisciplinary frameworks. This work integrates cognitive, social, and biological perspectives to understand age-related changes from infancy to old age.

As Co-Speaker for LIFE Michigan, she leads academic strategy for the program's doctoral training initiatives within the broader IMPRS LIFE network spanning Berlin, Virginia, and Zurich campuses.
