Jacques Cornuz is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and serves as the Director of the University Medical Polyclinic (PMU), a role he has held since August 1, 2011, after previously serving as its Deputy Director.
His research is widely recognized, focusing on critical areas of public and clinical health. His primary fields of interest include Tobacco Control, Cardiovascular Disease Prevention, Diagnosis in Internal Medicine, and Clinical Screening. He is a strong advocate for Shared Decision-Making in patient care and has conducted extensive work in preventive medicine, leveraging his expertise in clinical epidemiology and public health.
