Dr. Jacqueline You is an Assistant Professor in International Business, Entrepreneurship & Strategy at the University of York's School for Business and Society. She specializes in organizational resilience, disruption, and inter-organizational relationships, with 20+ years of global experience across China, the US, Canada, France, and the UK under the Global Talent Scheme. Her research focuses on resilience-building mechanisms in organizations and societies, employing Fuzzy Cognitive Mapping (FCM) methodology. She co-leads undergraduate admissions in Management and leads projects like 'Nature-positive solar investment' funded by NERC/UKRI.
Education: DPhil (Management, Durham University), MLitt (Distinction), PGDip, PGCert, BBA (Hons). Awards include ESRC and Durham University research awards, and a Global Citizenship Programme scholarship. Teaching includes MBA courses on Leading Organisational Change and Global Business Strategy.
Research interests include business ecosystems, nature-positive finance, and cross-sectoral partnerships. She advises PhD students on resilience, disruption, and social entrepreneurship ecosystems. Current grants include projects on biodiversity finance and the Good Business Charter.
Labs/Teams: Active in the School for Business and Society's interdisciplinary research groups focusing on sustainable development and strategic resilience.
