Jacqueline Melvold is a Visiting Associate Professor of Practice and the Compton Chair of Creative Intelligence and Innovation at the University of Arizona's W.A. Franke Honors College. She leads the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation (BCII), a transdisciplinary program designed to equip students with skills in creativity, futures thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
Her research and teaching focus on transforming education to empower young people in addressing complex societal challenges. She fosters collaborative, experiential learning environments that integrate knowledge across disciplines, enabling students to apply, evaluate, and connect ideas in meaningful ways. Her work promotes mutual learning among educators, industry, community, government, and students to build sustainable and just futures.
