Jacqueline A. Dowling

Dr. Jacqueline A. Dowling is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Global Ecology, Carnegie Institution for Science, affiliated with Stanford University. She completed her PhD in Chemistry at the California Institute of Technology with a minor in Environmental Science and Engineering, and will join the University of Iowa as an Assistant Professor in January 2026. Her work bridges macro-scale energy system modeling and laboratory-based catalyst development for electrolytic hydrogen production.
