Dr. Jacomine Nortier is an Associate Professor at Utrecht University's Faculty of Humanities, Department of Languages, Literature and Communication. Her work focuses on language variation and change in multilingual urban contexts, particularly examining code-switching, urban youth languages, and the relationship between language and identity.
