Prof. Dr. Bart Jacobs is a Professor of Software Security and Correctness at Radboud University Nijmegen, working within the Digital Security group at the Institute for Computing and Information Sciences. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Science and holds secondary appointments in Philosophy and Law. Jacobs focuses on theoretical computer science, particularly category theory, coalgebra, and probabilistic reasoning, alongside applied security research in areas like chipcards, electronic voting, and privacy.
