Dr. Jacob Blazejewski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Appalachian State University, joining in Fall 2023. He holds a B.S. from Alma College (double major in math and chemistry), and M.S. and Ph.D. in mathematics from Michigan Technological University. His research focuses on applied and computational mathematics, particularly developing robust numerical methods for partial differential equations using meshless techniques like the Radial Basis Functions Method.
