Jaclyn P. Griffith

Jaclyn P. Griffith is a Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at City Tech, CUNY. She holds an M.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island and a B.A. in Communication Studies from Pace University. Her teaching includes COM 1330 Public Speaking and COM 1403 Introduction to Communication in Healthcare Professions.

Research Interests: Griffith's work focuses on intersections of gender, race, and social class in postfeminist media culture. Her scholarship addresses how media constructs and markets these identities, particularly in consumer culture and youth subcultures.

Selected Publications: Griffith's research engages interdisciplinary fields, blending communication studies with gender studies, cultural analysis, and childhood studies. Her recent work examines masculinity in children's toys and youth cultural movements.
