Dr Jaclyn Granick is a Senior Lecturer in Modern Jewish History at Cardiff University's School of History, Archaeology and Religion. She specializes in the intersection of modern Jewish history and international history, with a focus on politics, philanthropy/humanitarianism, and gender across the Jewish Diaspora (America, Europe, and the Mediterranean). Her teaching portfolio includes modules on antisemitism, Holocaust studies, Judaic religious movements, migration, and Jewish thought.

Her research explores American Jewish war relief logistics (1914-1918), Jewish organizations' influence at the League of Nations, and gender dynamics in Jewish inter/nationalism. She has published extensively on these topics, including her award-winning monograph International Jewish Humanitarianism in the Age of the Great War (Cambridge University Press, 2021).
Dr Granick's publications demonstrate interdisciplinary approaches to humanitarianism history, with particular attention to non-state actors during wartime. Her article Gendering Jewish inter/nationalism (2022) highlights gendered perspectives in nationalist movements.
