Jackson Gravitt is an Assistant Professor of Christian Studies and Director of Veritas: The Honors Program at Bryan College. A Bryan College alumnus (BA in Christian Studies, 2020), he earned an MA in Theological Studies from Erskine Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a ThM in Reformation and Post-Reformation Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.

Jackson’s research explores intersections between Reformation theology, Franciscan spirituality, and Biblical hermeneutics. His recent publications analyze Calvin’s biblical exegesis, Franciscan influence on pre-Reformation movements, and structural literary devices in Old Testament narratives. His work earned the prestigious Ray A. King Church History Award.
He actively contributes to popular theological discourse through articles in The Gospel Coalition, Mere Orthodoxy, and Cateclesia Institute, while also preaching in local churches as a licentiate in the Tennessee Valley Presbytery.
