Jackie Barlow

Jackie Barlow is currently the Acting Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) in the Business School at Teesside University. Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management. She holds a Level 7 CIPD qualification, an MA in Human Resource Management and Development from the University of Huddersfield, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Teesside University. She was awarded Senior Fellow status by the Higher Education Academy in March 2024.

Her research and professional interests center on Human Resource Management practices, academic leadership in higher education, and teaching methodologies in post-16 education. She currently serves as Student Engagement Lead at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
