Dr. Jack V Sears is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Temple University's College of Public Health. He serves as Program Director for the Kinesiology Physical Activity Program (KPAP), overseeing 35 adjunct instructors and managing over 90 sections of physical activity classes for nearly 2,000 students annually.

- MA in Christian Education, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
- BS in Education with concentration in recreation and sports, Baylor University
Dr. Sears specializes in physical education teacher education, curriculum development, and adapted physical activity. His research explores how refugee resettlement impacts physical educators' behavior and teaching practices. He has extensive experience in international student development through his 17-year career in Malawi, Cyprus, Russia, and Turkey, where he focused on sports coaching and physical education.
At Temple University, he teaches undergraduate courses including Pickleball (ACTV 1039), Intermediate Golf (ACTV 1045), Volleyball (ACTV 1051), Backpacking and Camping (ACTV 1061), Physical Activity for Individuals with Disabilities (KINS 2502), Human Movement and Development (KINS 3213), and Coaching Essentials (KINS 4290).
